Thread starter Laurie Start date Aug 4, Laurie Enthusiast Aug 4, Messages 26 Location Australia. Hello, As i explained in the introduction section, I have a Toro Groundmaster 72 lawnmower with a continental R engine. I would appreciate any advice you Renault enthusiasts may be able to give me. A couple of years ago I picked up this old mower fairly cheap, it was great at the time after recently having a horse die and needing something fairly sizable to cover a few acres.

When i purchased it i expected to have to do some maintenance work. I actually checked under oil filler cap and spotted condensation and thought it wouldn't be long before it needed a head gasket So its done a couple of years now and i'm very happy with it as a mower and would like too do some resto work on the machine. I started having some problems with it running right a few months ago with various symptoms that led me to believe its time i done the head gasket Now i began disassemble today, with the intent of removing the head and cleaning and preping everything, after inspecting for any major problems.

Now the machine was sitting outside for a few weeks with the engine uncovered during some pretty heavy showers, so i'm wondering if there is a chance that water has found its way in through the bad inlet gasket, though it really only looked like the exhaust sides of both gaskets were damaged.

I'm wondering if white smoke under load could mean the engine was sucking condensation out of the air rather then water leaking through head gasket Ive done a cold comp test and found cylinders all to be between and psi.

As i said i had intended to do the full job but i know there is a little more to these that a simple cast iron block and don't want to go that way if i don't have too So yes I hope i have included enough information and look forward to any advice you guys may have.

Messages If you are stripping the engine you may as well do it properly, you only want to do it once! Laurie Enthusiast Aug 5, Geoff in the Gully Getting it together Aug 5, That includes manifold, head, waterpump, sump etc.

Though that was for an cc kit rather than the higher compression used on the engine.

And a 'get this waste of shelf space out of here' price. All this from Caravelle Imports in Box Hill - they might not have any left though now change of management and 'business direction'. I concur with your idea of trying a replacement manifold gasket - I'm not hopeful of success but it's a cheap easy trial and you never know your luck. If it was condensation you're seeing in the inlets, I would expect to see the white smoke mainly on start up and then disappear.

Under load suggests the water is being sucked into the cylinder with some force. It doesn't take much if a hole between water channel and cylinder to let water in. The compression figures you're getting seem rather good but I'm used to those for the engines with compression ratio rather than the 's 8. So they might be down a bit.Wisconsin Motors is a leading manufacturer of heavy-duty and industrial engines.

Restaurants, hotels and medical providers again lead the pack as the sectors in which most reviews are read. Here we see a clear correlation between regularity of service use and review-reading.

How often we need to find a good nearby restaurant, grocery store or bar far outweighs the frequency that we need locksmiths, accountants and chiropractors, for example. The use of tablets and mobiles to read reviews has increased every year. With Yelp attracting 40. While it leads in monthly traffic, there is still some work to be done to cement it as the trusted source of second opinions. This will likely come as Google puts more emphasis on encouraging business owners to collect reviews and consumers to leave them.

Despite getting just 6. After moving away from its consumer platform, Foursquare now focuses more on being a data provider with broader business services. Consumers have clearly noticed the switch and are placing their trust elsewhere. Could Foursquare reviews be close to the end. Reading a positive or negative review is one thing, but what really matters is what the consumer does next. Do they take the review on board.

Illustrated Parts Catalog

Do they ignore it. Do they read more reviews. Do they take immediate action to use the business. This trend corroborates with the findings in Q8, where negativity is becoming less of a driver. The results suggest that, while people are now more likely to take action after reading a positive review, negative reviews are less likely to put them off using a business. This is good news for businesses who already have a strategy in place for encouraging positive reviews and managing negative ones.

If such incremental changes continue, could every consumer soon be reading reviews as part of their decision-making process. Reviews continue to play a key role in establishing the public reputation of a local business, directly influencing how consumers feel about a business.

Maintenance Manuals

There also appears to be a growing level of apathy or lack of concern about negative reviews. This follows on from the trend of negativity seen above. Consumers are still looking for reviews to be recent, frequently submitted and with a high average star rating. This surprising find suggests that the actual content of a review is becoming less important. This could be because time-poor consumers are moving away from fully reading reviews and are instead opting to make quick decisions based on the star rating and quantity of reviews.

This extra click to read reviews could be putting consumers off delving deeper and encouraging them to make decisions based on the summary information within search results. As seen below, the sheer quantity of reviews adds credence to star ratings, with consumers more likely to trust the average star rating of a business with many reviews.

With consumers paying more attention to this than sentiment, businesses must consider what they can do to earn that coveted five-star reputation.

This leap shows the growing importance of responding to reviews quickly and professionally, addressing any negative comments with further context or information on how the criticism has led to change. This is likely to be tied to the growing number of consumers who expect businesses to have a significant number of reviews (see Q9). A poor customer experience could bring the average star rating down, which could lead to a business being automatically blacklisted by a significant number of consumers.

Keeping on top of reputation means regular checks on ratings across different review sites. Businesses must build a proactive plan to encourage positive reviews if they want to ensure potential customers are not put off.

While a relatively small proportion of consumers expect to see a large number of reviews, failing to meet such expectations could mean losing out on a significant chunk of potential customers at the first hurdle. The basic idea is to use a different random subset of the original dataset for each model in the ensemble.

You can read more about bagging here. Random decision forests is the second ensemble-based strategy that BigML provides. It consists, essentially, in selecting a new random set of the input fields at each split while an individual model is being built instead of considering all the input fields. To create a random decision forest you just need to set the randomize argument to true.

You can read more about random decision forests here. Each tree modifies the predictions of the previously grown tree.

Continental R08 Engine Parts

You must specify the boosting argument in order to apply this technique. You can also list all of your ensembles. Click here to find more information about weights. Example: 128 description optional String A description of the ensemble up to 8192 characters long. It can contain a rate (default 1), and replacement (default true), and seed parameters. This argument can be used to change the names of the fields in the models of the ensemble with respect to the original names in the dataset.

It can also be used to tell BigML that certain fields should be preferred. All the fields in the dataset Specifies the fields to be included as predictors in the models of the ensemble.

Example: flase name optional String, default is dataset's name The name you want to give to the new ensemble. This parameter is ignored for boosted trees. See the Gradient Boosting section for more information. Example: "000003" ordering optional Integer, default is 0 (deterministic). Specifies the type of ordering followed to build the models of the ensemble. There are three different types that you can specify: 0 Deterministic 1 Linear 2 Random For more information, see the Section on Shuffling.

See the Section on Random Decision Forests for further details. The range of successive instances to build the models of the ensemble. It doesn't apply to boosted trees. Example: 16 tags optional Array of Strings A list of strings that help classify and retrieve the ensemble.

If you do not specify a range of instances, the complete set of instances in the dataset will be used. If you do not specify any input fields, all the preferred input fields in the dataset will be included, and if you do not specify an objective field, the last field in your dataset will be considered the objective field.

Note that when gradient boosting option is applied to classification models, the actual number of models created will be a product of the number of classes (categories) and the iterations. For example, if you set boosting iterations to 12 and the number of classes is 3, then the number of models created will be 36 or less depending on whether an early stopping strategy is used or not.

Individual trees in the boosted trees differ from trees in bagged or random forest ensembles. Primarily the difference is that boosted trees do not try to predict the objective field directly. Instead, they try to fit a gradient (correcting for mistakes made in previous iterations), and this will be stored under a new field, named gradient. This means the predictions from boosted trees cannot be combined with using the regular ensemble combiners.

Instead, boosted trees use their own combiner that relies on a few new parameters included with individual boosted trees. These new parameters will be contained in the boosting attribute in each boosted tree, which may contain the following properties. These are sums of the first and second order gradients, and are needed for generating predictions when encountering missing data and using the proportional strategy.

For regression problems, a prediction is generated by finding the prediction from each individual tree and doing a weighted sum using each tree's weight.
